Mary Ann Jones Pop Art - American - 20th Century Mary Ann Jones is one of the greatest American artists of the 20th Century, whose pop art peaked with the unique artefact FACES, an oil-painting of memorable individuals highly celebrated and popularized in the 90´s. It is known that her work was inspired by her global travels, including a seven-year period of sailing voyages. During this time she went to museums of any nation and studied the arts of numerous cultures firsthand. Her figurative and abstract images draw on these experiences for their fresh, funky appeal. A culmination of her experiences, FACES is based on the concept of diversity and inclusion with memorable celebrities. In the 90´s Abe Guny, an art lover and the owner of Rezzan Publishing as well as the Art World Galleries Enterprises in California, befriended Mary Ann Jones.
